Crafted by hand the same way for centuries our Bejmat and Zellige tiles are hand-molded and cut, which means no two tiles are the same. They are a handcrafted natural clay tile, which can be left raw or glazed in a range of vibrant colours. Bejmat and Zellige tile production takes time...each tile is hand-chiseled, dried and kiln fired before an enamel glaze is applied by hand.

Due to the handmade nature of our tiles, there may be slight imperfections. You will receive tiles with noticeable variations in depth and colour and they may be pitted through the glaze, contain cracks, crazing and edge-chipping. These quirks are not flaws and should be considered an essential part of your handmade tiles.
NOTE: Please take into account we are only importers of handmade Moroccan tiles and not installation professionals. All actual tiling work, installation and recommendations for the best adhesive, grout and sealant should be given and undertaken by a qualified New Zealand tradesperson.
